Bottle from the brewery online shop. Appearance - amber with a proportionate off-white head. Nose - dried orange and grainy. Something lemon zesty too. Taste - cakey/grainy. Dried and fresh citrus peel. Palate - light bodied, a bit sweet in the middle, with a light zesty finish. Overall - ok.

500ml bottle from that brewery. Poured a clear copper colour with a thin broken white head. The aroma is yeasty, nutty, floral hop. The flavour is moderate bitter, with a crisp, slightly watery, light hop bitter palate. Medium bodied with soft carbonation. A little rough around the edges.

Cask at the Railway Tavern, Chelmsford. Pours hazy amber colour with a small lasting white head. Easy drinking ale and decent for it's abv.

Clear dark golden color with a small tan head on top. Moderate intensity in the aroma. Medium body and a soft carbonation level. Ok balance between sweetness and bitterness. Bready ish, mild mild citric and mild fruity flavor.

Cask ale by hand pump, half pint at Railway Tavern in Chelmsford. Golden-brown body, low, off-white head. Herbal hops and mid-sweet malty nose. Taste of grainy malts and lemony hops followed by a rather short, bittersweet ending. Easy to drink. True to the the style (17.02.2017).

Hazy gold - amber beer, decent pale cream coloured head. Lots of particulates in this one - I think hop fragments. Palate is crispy and fairly dry. Smooth malt, not sweet but brings a touch of dry cream. Moderate bitterness in the hops. Finishes dry and with a mild minerally crisp bite. It’s a clean tasting beer and quite drinkable, but it’s not an IPA and nothing out of the ordinary.
