Brewed to celebrate twenty-five years of Rooster’s and our pioneering approach to brewing modern, hop-forward beers, this limited edition pale ale has been brewed using two outstanding New World hops. Tropical fruits and hints of citrus (notably grapefruit) are on display and come courtesy of New Zealand’s Rakau hops and Citra from the USA.

Can from Cotteridge Wines; hazy golden yellow pour with a big bubbly off white head, aroma has sweet malts and orange, taste has slightly grapefruit bitterness, hints of spice.

Cask at Beer Hunters. Clear golden colour, small white head. Citrusy, cat pissy aroma. Light to medium-bodied. Pale malty, cracker, citrus in the flavour. Nice sessionable real ale with lots of taste.

Cask @ Black Door. Poured clear golden color with a thin white head. Citrusy, floral hoppy aroma. Flavor has citrusy hops, floral notes, some grass. Long finish. Good drinkability.

Cask @ Angleterre, Helsinki. Smooth, slightly fruity and citrusy ale with some grass and pine. Pretty easy going and quaffable.

Can @ The Ale House, Chelmsford.Nice head with good duration. Color is golden. Aroma and taste are fruits, malt, hops and has a nice bitter finish.

Can from Drink? Hebden Bridge. Blonde ale with a carbonation and a small head. Has a dirty-hoppy nose, with a some citrus fruit available in its taste, but again mostly dirty-hoppy with a bitterness to follow. Always crisp drinking.

Cask at Bar Fringe, Manchester. Gold pour with a white head. Spice, citrus and vanilla aroma. More spice and citrus in the flavour. Not too bad.
