Two days before christmas eve the Winterbier of the notorious german cheap beer brand. 0,5 l bottle. Clear gold amber in the glass, big foamy but fast fading head. Malt and sweet apples on the nose. Taste starts with toasted malt, some alcoholic hints in the background, metallic influences. Tast thins out to the end. Just okay.

Bamberg jolly day 3 26/01/2014. Bottle shared on the train. Bright orange/ amber colour with a fleeting white head. Aroma is stale and sweet dull spices, nutmeg. Flavour is stale dull spices, sticky sweet, corn. Pretty poor.

Ins Glas ergießt sich ein klares bernsteinfarbenes Bier mit geringer Schaumkrone. Geruch malzig, würzig, leicht fruchtig. Geschmack würzig, malzig, leicht bitter hopfig.

Bottle from Sky, Lübeck. Clear amber with an off-white head. Aroma is sweet, malty, caramel and light hoppy. Flavor is medium sweet and moderate bitter. Dry and light bitter finish. 110314

Day 3 of the post Xmas Bamberg Jolly, bottle from the Toom Amber, shared on the train from Nuremberg to Freising, 26/01/14. Clear golden with a moderate off white head. Nose is bready, light spice, caramel, all round a little thin. Taste comprises light caramel, cardboard notes, orchard fruit, hint of spice. Medium bodied, moderate carbonation, drying close. Mediocre stuff.

Bamberg Bash Day 3. Train swig. Almost clear amber beer, good pale cream coloured head. Palate is light and airy. Sweetish pale malt. Sweetish fruits but then there is an acidic tone as well. Light dry finish. Messy.

Bottle @ dark golden with a offwhite head. Aroma of malt, grain, bread, little sourness. Flavor is malty, bread, grain, little citrus. Medium body, lively carbonation. 300114

Bottle. Pours clear golden with airy white head. Clear aroma of yeast and skunk, with a mild hoppy note. Sweetish, estery flavour, with bitter and sourish notes, ending skunky and bitter. I have never tasted fart, but that probably what comes closest to it. Not good.
