Can, 0.5l. Cloudy deep copper pour, one finger frothy off-white head, good retention. Slight lacing on the glass, surprisingly. Malty and grainy nose, some stale grass notes. Light to medium body, soft carbonation. Average mouthfeel and texture, soft and easily drinkable, a bit watery. Sweet taste with herbal and alcohol bitterness in the background. Aroma of caramel malt, herbs, grains and stale grass. Mild alcohol, hints of dried fruits. Short lasting finish. Not bad for the price but nothing to get excited about either.

Malty, flowery, bit soapy aroma. Rather thin. Malty flavor with licorice, cinnamon and pepper. The taste is not too bad, but the beer is thin and not well balanced. Still value for money at $0,30 per 0,5 litre.

500ml bottle; BB 10th Apr 19. Poured into an Abbot Ale glass tankard at home on 3rd Dec 18. Bright golden body, clean and clear, on top a large foaming head of off-white bubbles. Malty front to the aroma and taste, fairly sweet and one dimensional in nature. Good headache material.

Sampled from 0.5 l bottle from local 'Dursty', best before April 2018. Clear, dark reddish amber with a thin, frothy, slowly diminishing, white head. Sweetish, slightly musty aroma of caramel, grains and some cardboard. Moderately sweet, slightly bitter, a bit musty taste of caramel, grains and some cardboard, followed by a short, moderately bitter, slightly papery and quite metallic finish. Medium body, slightly oily and moderately effervescent mouthfeel, soft carbonation. Not very pleasant.

Bottle, courtesy of MoritzF, many thanks! Rather pale amber-orange color with hardly any head that is immediately gone. Aroma is bubble gum and a sweet maltiness. Taste is malts, bubblegum and caramel, a bit of wet cellar. Mouthfeel is a bit watery. Drinkable and alright, but barely. Not as bad as one would expect from Oettinger.

Bottle shared at St Judes Brewery Tavern, Ipswich. Pours a clear amber colour with an off-white head. Aroma is sweet, malty, with some caramel and light hop. Medium+ sweetness with moderate bitterness. It was ok but had hoped for more from this.
