Dark brown to black colour with a light brown head. Aroma of dark malts, dark fruits, caramel, raisins, mild coffee. Flavour is much the same, light sweetness. Good brew.

Bottle 0,33: Dark brown coloured brew with an sweet bitter taste and hints of mostly caramel and slightly roasted malts. Too brown for an Stout, i like them opaque black but nevertheless this beer is nice.

33 cl. Bottle @ 't Witte Huuske in Midsland. Dark red brown with a big off-white head. Dark malts aroma with dark and red fruits and dark candy syrup. Sweet taste with a sweet finish. It's missing the typical roasted malts of a stout, making it more of a Belgian strong ale than anything else.

Bottle. Color: Clear ruby, dense off-white head. Aroma: Sweet malty, caramel. Taste: Over medium sweet, malty, notes of caramel. Moderate bitterness. Some roasted malt notes mainly at the finish. Medium body, a little too much carbonation. Ok taste, but no way a stout in my opinion. Taste is more like an abbey double.

33cl bottle from Brouwdok. Thick creamy off white head. Hazy amber pour. Not dark enough or chochlatey enough to be a stout. More of an amber beer

Bottle. Brown copper color, white head. Aroma of caramelised malt, anise and some sweet coffee. Taste is sweet and yeasty, with caramel, cinnamon and a little iron. Too much carbs. This is no stout, but a strong Belgian dubbel and not even a good one.

Stout made in Belgium for a Dutch beer company from Terschelling, one of the Wadden islands. Very dense and compact, yellowish light beige head with good retention and leaving a thick, equal layer of lacing on the glass; colour a very dark, cloudy burgundy, approaching black but still showing some colour. Rather weak aroma of dried plums, raisins, cold tea, sourdough, damp cellar, figs, madera, bread, caramel, some coffee and crabapple. Fruity onset, pear, sour berries and green apple, some sourish citrus peel, strong and drying carbonation, nutty and somewhat chocolatey maltiness, spicy yeastiness, powdery mouthfeel, less thick than expected but still rather full; spicy finish with a sourish touch, some rhum-like warming alcohol, leafy hop bitterishness, bready yeastiness and a gentle roasted bitterness. More a Scotch than a true stout to me, let alone an imperial stout, but enjoyable nonetheless. The Belgian yeastiness is very apparent.
