Bottle @ de Molen, small sample. Hazy amber to light brown color, short rocky head. Aroma is quite spicy, sweet caramel, toffee, slight alcohol, raisin. Quite sweet in taste, like a blend of a quadrupel and a barley wine, but with lots of belgian yeast spicyness. Tasted this one blind and although it had some minor flaws, I did enjoy it.

Bottle from the Brouwcafe. Bottle number 744, bottled April 2013. Poured a clear dark brown with a reddish hue and a big frothy light tan head. The aroma is rich yeast, raisins and boozy alcohol. The flavour is medium sweet, light bitter with a yeast alcoholic bitter palate and a short bitter finish. Medium bodied with lively carbonation and a frothy mouthfeel. Nice to taste in small quantities but somewhat sweet and alcoholic when you are faced with drinking a large bottle on your own!
