Cask at EBF 23, 24/03/16. Extremely dark mahogany brown with a decent beige head. Nose is dark malts, pine, spice, earthy hop, light tropical fruit ensemble. Taste comprises light pine, biscuit crumble, charr, peppery spice, toffee, grapefruit. Medium bodied, soft carbonation, semi drying close. Solid ... one of the better cask CDA’s I’ve encountered.

Cask-conditioned at the Three Tuns, Bristol, 2/12/2015. Near black in colour, with a tight, off-white, head. Hoppy aroma of citrus and berry fruits, with a touch of toastiness. Flavour had plenty more fruit, some chocolate and rather light malts, before a dryish finish. A good beer.
