30/11/2019. Cask at the Dove Street Inn Winter Beer Festival. Pours clear mid brown with a small bubbly off-white head. Aroma of malt, sweet toffee, hops, fruit, nut and rye bread. Medium sweetness and light to moderate bitterness. Medium body, slight sticky texture, soft carbonation. Very drinkable.

Cask, gravity at The Blacks Head, Bletchingdon, Oxon, 07.11.11 Pours chestnut with a good clarity, though there is no head. Malty, with plenty of toffee flavours, some bitterness shining through. This along with about six other casks were left from a beer festival held over the weekend and were still in v.good nick on the Monday evening when we had them, £1.50 a pint was a veritable bargain. Cask-conditioned at the Bag ONails, Bristol 4/11/08. Reddish-amber with a slight white head. Fruity, toffee aroma with some earthiness. Flavour was sweet, with plenty of caramel, red berries and a decent bitter finish. Ok.
