25/12/2021. Bottle from Beers of Europe. Pours dark brown with a small frothy beige head. Aroma of coffee, chocolate. roasted malt, caramel, lactose, dark fruits. Medium sweetness, light bitterness. Moderate body, slight creamy texture, average carbonation. Quite nicely done.

33 cl bottle @ Nurmo BBE 05.06.2022. Rated on 17.10.2021 Aroma has coffee and chili-like vegetables. Flavour has chili, mocha, truffles. Ashy finish with herbal hops. Feels watery. Okay-ish.

Cask at the Southampton Arms, London on 1st November 2020. Deep sepia with tan foam and almost no lace. Chocolate, coffee and aniseed aroma, with three flavours harmonising. Liquid pass and finish to match. Velvet smooth texture and a fair amount of body.

Cask @ Bishops Arms Gustav, Malmö. Pours a hazy amber brown color with a small off-white head. Has a fruity coffee aroma. Fruity malty caramel coffee flavor. Has a fruity malty caramel coffee finish.

Cask at Mr Foleys, Leeds. Near black with a creamy light-brown head. It has a slightly milky texture, has a sweetness in its taste and a milky aftertaste. Its roasted notes are best in its nose.

On cask at Coach and Horses Dronfield - Dark brown body, ecru top. Lots of milky coffee notes in the nose, almost cappuccino in the taste. Lush smooth mouthfeel, a bit of a pleaser.
