Can at home from Elusive I think, 17th April 2020. Pours a clear golden IPA. Aroma is pine needles, pith. Taste is pineapple, pine needles, pithy rind, grapefruit. Good hop bitterness in the finish and quite dry. Very decent IPA.

Can at home in Hackney - picked up from Clapton Craft. So it must be said, I have sat on this can for about three weeks - for you see, I think a lot of Boxcar comes a bit raw out the gates. If this beer were great out the gates, great, but it is excellent so I can only assume the waiting was for good. It pours impressively clear with a frothy, pure white head. It's one of those refreshing modern IPAs that straddles the line between haze and WC. Has moderate sweetness, tropical fruits, mellow pine, papaya, tangerine, some rindy bitterness, pale bread. Medium bodied with fine, massaging carbonation. Well balanced finish, almost crisp, with more tidy pale bread, tangerine rind, nips of pine and grapefruit. Overall, it's a great beer.

Can at home, 18/03/20. Lightly hazed orange with a decent white cap. Nose is orange pith, melon, grass, tangerine, papaya. Taste comprises tangerine, ripe melon, light pine, weed, grass, airy malts, grapefruit splash. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close kissed with juicy come grassy hop bitterness. Decent enough IPA.
