Powerplant is lager in it's most natural state. Brewed with fine pilsner malts from Bamberg and fermented with German yeast before being lagered for 42 days. The beer is crisp and carries a distinct noble hop character from the Saaz and Mittelfrüh hops. The flavours are subtly floral and herbacious, with just the right amount of bitterness to keep you refreshed.

330ml can from Beerhawk. Hazy yellow gold colour, big white foamy head leaving lacing and floral yeasty, grassy aroma. Taste is malt, grainy, yeasty with hay and tangy, fruity, grassy bitterness. Medium bodied, soft carbonation, dry bitter finish. Quite drinkable.

Can at home in Hackney - picked up at Clapton Craft. Pours lightly hazy pale yellow with a creamy, pure white head. Not bad given it's gluten free. Has some crispy cereal, a little bitter straw, white bread, nips of lemon pith, grass. Light bodied with fine to average carbonation. Moderate bitter straw in the finish, more crispy cereal and pale biscuits. Yeah, not bad.
