03/10 0.5 l bottle, from Bier Spezialitäten Laden in Berlin, the very last one that remained from Marko’s and mine March trip. It poured hazy orange body with medium sized head. Very nice bubblegum aroma. Flavor was a slight letdown then, it had quality weizen characteristics - tasty banana and even spicy notes, but occasionally it had unpleasant metallic note, with medium body which seemed even watery as of its very short finish. Pleasant otherwise, but if only didn’t have that metal in it.

Hazy orange coloured, small to medium sized off-white head, dusty fruity yeasty nose. Yeasty, wheaty and banana taste with sharp alcoholic finish. Drinkable but pretty ordinary beer.

0.5l bottle that heavy and me got at the Bier Spezialitäten Laden in Berlin, shared with ogivlado. Poured a dark, murky orange-brown body with a thick, chalky white head. Banana and yeast in the nose, sweet and fresh. Sweet light yeasty taste, with vague notes of banana. Very drinkable but hardly a stunner.

Bottled. An unclear golden beer with an off-white head. The aroma has notes of malt, wheat, caramel, and banana. The flavor is sweet with notes of malt, wheat, caramel, and bread, leading to a dry wheaty finish.

bottle, Dankeschön nach Bochum! Cloudy pale brownish golden colour, large and creamy off-white head. Malty-fruity-yeasty nose. Full-bodied, intensively malty and yeasty with a pleasant fruity touch (berries, mango, banana). Lingering finish. Smooth and velvety palate.

(bottle) Cloudy, orange to amber colour with a big but not very persistent off-white foamy head. Yeasty, sweet grainy and moderately wheaty aroma with notes of banana and a lighter clovy touch. Sweet flavour, medium bodied with a lively carbonation. Yeasty, grainy and moderately yeasty taste with a rather restrained fruit-character (banana); sweet and slightly yeasty bitter finish with shy fruity notes, cloves and a tinge of alcohol. Bottle. Looks amazing with its orange color and a big white head. The aroma is a little anonymous, some laid back banana and wheat is all i can get. Sweet deep fried bananas dominates the taste. The finish is somewhat sharp with some warming alcohol. Not very complex, but who cares? How I love the weizen bock style!

Bottle 50 cl. Pours a cloudy and opaque orangey golden with a tall and dense off-white head with god retention. Aroma of yeast, banana and alcohol - rather intense. Full-bodied, yeast, banana and some phenols. Alcohol shines through in the finish. 140509

Bottle, shared by Papsoe. It pours a hazy, orange to tan body. Finger-thick, creamy, off-white to beige head. The aroma has banana, caramel, a hint of alcohol, toffee and even more banana. Sweet, fruity, banana-ish flavor with hints of citrus, caramel and some hops. Full-bodied and effervescent, dry and slightly warm. Bitter, sweet finish with banana. A beer that starts rather ordinary, but soon turns out quite nice. (090514)

50 cL bottle. Pours hazy orange with a dense and off-white head. Mild fruity and estery aroma. Light metallic and yeasty flavoured, estery too. Mild citric and wheaty flavoured finish with a light estery note on back of the tongue.
