8/9/10/11/11/11

(bottle) Cloudy, golden colour with a big and greige foamy head. Slightly yeasty and moderately wheaty aroma with traces of cara-malt and fruity notes of green bananas and a tinge of clovy spice. Sweet and delicately sour flavour, medium bodied with a modest carbonation. Wheaty and slightly cara-malty base with notes of banana and a whiff of citrus, bearable clovy spice in the background; sweet and delicately sour finish with present wheaty notes and an almost muted alcoholic strength; notes of banana and a whiff of caramel in the aftertaste. Solid. 27.II.14

500 ml bottle into weizen glass, unknown bottle coding. Pours very hazy golden orange color with a 1 finger fairly dense white head with good retention, that reduces to a thin cap that lingers. Light spotty lacing clings on the glass, with a good amount of streaming carbonation retaining the head. Aromas of big pear, apple, ripe banana, white grape, orange peel, wheat, honey, bread, light caramel, clove, herbal, floral, grass, and yeast earthiness. Very nice aromas with good balance and complexity of malt and fruity/earthy yeast notes; with good strength. Taste of big pear, apple, ripe banana, white grape, orange peel, wheat, honey, bread, light caramel, light clove, herbal, floral, grass, and yeast earthiness. Lingering notes of pear, apple, white grape, banana, wheat, honey, bread, light caramel, herbal, and yeast earthiness on the finish for a good bit. Very nice balance, robustness, and complexity of malt and fruity/earthy yeast flavors; with a nice malt/fruitiness balance and zero cloying sweetness after the finish. Medium carbonation and medium-full bodied; with a smooth and moderately slick mouthfeel that is nice. Alcohol is very well hidden with only a slight warming present after the finish. Overall this is a very nice weizenbock. All around good balance and complexity of malt and fruity/earthy yeast flavors; and very smooth to drink for the ABV. A very enjoyable offering.

500ml bottle. Hazy amber colour with huge, frothy to creamy, fully lasting, moderately lacing, off-white head. Wheaty and spicy, minimally peppery yeasty aroma, hints of mild mustard, fruity notes of pear and banana. Taste is intensely fruity, lots of pear, also banana and red apple, a minimally spicy, yeasty touch, hints of mild mustard, moderate sweetness, dry hoppy overtones, dry hints of fruit parings; very subtle hints of alcohol in the finish. Full body, thick tecture, drinkable though, Wonderful fruity Weizenbock.

Deep hazy orange color, decent creamy white head, lace. Overriped banana, some alcohol in the aroma. Citrusy, tart flavor. Some overriped banana. Quite sour. Not my kind of weizenbock.

[Thanks to kevnic2008]. Bottle. HAzy and cloudy golden color with a white head with medium to long duration. Aroma has notes of citrus, wheat and yeast. Flavor is wheaty with medium body, some yeast notes, also marzipan traces are present. The final has citrus notes, slightly acidic; maybe infected.
