On tap at the GJBF Osaka. It pours a little bit darker gold than your usual weizen, minimal white head. The aroma is slightly stronger but not in a spicy way and I got some smokiness to it. The flavor was fruity but not so spicy as a regular weizen. A supercharged weizen with a greater alcohol punch.

A delicious, beautiful beer. Pours hazy golden/orange with velvety head. Rich weizen aromas, banana, bubblegum, bread. Taste is smooth and robust, high ABV not apparent at all. Weizen bock is fast becoming one of my favorite styles, especially if done well.

22 oz. bottle from Julio’s liquors. Nice amber color with foamy white head that coats the glass. Aroma is sweet with a good citrus hoppiness and maltiness.Taste is simcoe and / or Chinook hops with some toasty malt, light caramel or toffee notes. Bitterness hangs around for a longer duration. Overall this is really well balanced and is really well crafted. I would seek out the Krampus and lay a beat down on him.

Hazy amber golden color. Chalk white head. Very malty, bananas, Full body, tons of bananas, a touch sweet, very smooth. Lingering bananas and cloves in the finish. Very nice.

(Bottle, 0.5 l - BBE 03.10.13, from Alko, 20130212) The beer poured dirty orange coloured and cloudy. Its head was medium sized and white. Aroma had fruitiness, banana, caramell and malts. Palate was medium bodied with medium carbonation. Flavours were fruitiness, tartness, sweetness, malts and bitterness. Aftertaste was fruity, tart and bitter. Should this beer really have been tart? It was quite confusing and not so pleasant.

Smell of fruit, banana, yeast. Pale amber colour with extreme cream-coloured head, ends up being dark amber and cloudy after pouring in yeast. Medium bitter and medium sour with aroma of apple and white wine. Aftertaste has banana aroma and is sweeter.

50 cl bottle. Bbe 10/13. Hazy orange, thin white, llasting head. Aroma is light tart with banana and wheat. Quite ok, but the flavor is off, very tart sour berries. Infected? Not drinkable as it is. What a shame.

BBE 03.10.13 - Pours dark orange with a foamy white head. Aroma of yeast, wheat malts, hints of banana, tart fruits and citrus. Taste is malty with some tart fruity notes, hints of banana, a lot of yeast and alcohol. Finish is sweet and sticky with strong sour notes and tart fruitness, hints of banana and yeasty notes. Unbalanced, quite strange weizen bock, almost like a tart fruity sahti. Probably an infected bottle?

Aroma is rather strong on banana esthers. Also some wheat, citrus and yeasty notes. Flavour has ripe banana, lemon, grapefruit and slight boozy notes. Too much citrus and grapefruit, but nice stuff still. Feels actually a bit like a tart saison.

A cloudy, slightly brownish yellow beer with a medium and blond head. Aroma of wheat, yeast, sourness, some fruitful sweetness and medium spicyness. Taste is strongly sour, wheat, some lemon and spices, unique citrusfruitness in the aftertaste. Medium bodied, lots of smooth carbonation, easy to drink. The unique weizenbock, that is not totally for my taste. Strong sourness with some citrusfruits that differs from the others.
