500ml bottle. Cloudy golden colour with huge frothy lacing white head. Slightly scruffy fruit aroma, apple, clammy straw, a spicy note. Fruity and spicy taste, apple, citrus, a hot spicy prickling note, some dry hop also. The more creamy palate I remember from a previous tasting seems to be gone sadly.

Bottled. Hazy orangeish golden colour, small white head. Aroma is wheat, mild bready malts, toffee, caramel and slight yeastyness. Flavour is wheat, fruits, mild yeast and some slight caramelly notes. Doesn’t feel like above normal wheat beer level as for alcohol.

bottle, donated by MoritzF! Clouzdy orange-yellow colour, large, fluffy head. Fruity nose. Wheaty, malty, rather lively carbonation that gives the beer a light mouthfeel. Spicy and fruity, indeed a Belgian touch here.

Bottle: Golden with an orangey sheen, visible carbonation, slowly diminishing frothy off-white head; sweet and tart nose (oranges, orange peel, caramelly wheat plus a delicate acoholic tinge) ; moderate to solid sweet and sourish-tart flavour, medium bodied; suuden traces of hops in the apart from that - typical orangey-tart finish. Well made Weizenbock with a Belgian touch......

(bottle) Hazy, golden colour with a blond and tall foamy head. Moderately sweet and yeasty wheat-malty aroma with fruity notes of banana, grapes and kiwi, accompanied by clovy notes. Moderately sweet flavour with a tinge of sourness, medium bodied with a spritzy carbonation. Slightly yeasty wheat-malty and present fruity taste; mildly sweet and assertively sour-fruity finish with a tinge of spices and a well-covered alcohol. Not a top-notch but pleasant Weizenbock. 27.II.11
