Schnapp-Fläschla: Copper coloured, hazy, medium-sized off-white head, mild to moderate sweet-bitter toasty-malty nose with a faint barnyardy-fruity touch underneath, hops hardly detectable; light to medium bodied, mild to moderate sweet-bitter flavour; slightly lingering dark-malty and (almost a bit) chocolatey finish. Surprise! A well drinkable Bier by Leikeim..

Bottle from a Getränkemarkt in Travemunde. Red-brown color with a beautiful soft head. Very neutral nose, but more on the tongue with some nutty dark caramel and a wee bit of bitterness & malty astringency on the tail end. Not exciting but very quaffable.

0,5 l swing top bottle from Zisch, Wildeshausen. A nice bright dark red brown in the glass, nearly two finger steady beige head. Smells malty, little bit caramel with hints of diacetyl. Taste is malty, some candy sweetness, increasing dry elements in the background. Low carbonated. Nice.
