Crisp, delicate & refreshing this is our Helles Lager, beautifully hopped in kettle & given 6 weeks of conditioning time this has all of the qualities we love in this style – a refreshing, slightly pithy citrus front end with clean, yeast-lead notes & a slight bitterness on the finish bringing eminent drinkability. A slightly higher finishing gravity than most boosts some of the citrus fruit character. In short this one’s an absolute crusher.

440ml can. Very pale golden, slight haze, white head. Aroma of bready malt. Taste of slightly sweet bready malt, straw, grassy hops, faint citrus. Medium body and carbonation.

White head which diminished to the edge-of-the-glass. Golden hue. Well carbonated. Hey. Straw. Freshly cut grass. Dough. Taste is sweet malts, crisp crunched biscuits, melon, lemon, citrus zest, lime and grapefruit. Excellent use if Noble hops. Unpasteurised. Clean and unfined.

Draft. A golden beer with a thin beige head. The aroma has notes of straw and malt. The flavor is sweet with notes of hops, straw, and malt, leading to a bitter finish.

Keg @ Vocation & Co, Hebden Bridge. Light golden with a small head. It's quite stated in its Helles style with a light sweetness and a mid carbonation.

Keg at Cloudwater unit 9. A light hazed yellow straw coloured pour with a frothy white head. Aroma is cereal, straw, green apple, lime. Flavour is composed of gritty straw, grass, cereal grains, spicy citrus. Palate is crisp, drying, highish airy carbonation. Good.

Keg at Unit 9, 21/02/20. Lightly hazed golden blonde with a decent white head that retains well. Nose is bready malts, straw, cereals, lemon rind. Taste comprises pale malts, crackers, hint of vanilla, grass, light citric zest. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close. Decent Helles.
