Dunkelweizen brewed with 100% local wheat and barley. This is the darker version of our Hefeweizen that takes its name from our first daughter, Willa Bliss. Expect spicy banana flavors similar to our Blissful Weiss complemented by notes of chocolate.

Pint can from The Wine Shop Charleston, 7/18/22. Dark brown, large frothy brown head, good retention. Aroma of wheat, chocolate, nuts. Taste is wheat, nuts, chocolate, cherry. Creamy, mild lingering tartness. Well balanced. Nice.

Banana, clove, chocolate malt, and straw aroma. Dark brown with moderate brown head. Moderately sweet banana, clove, chocolate wheat malt, and mildly bitter hay flavor. Nice body. Solid.

Can from weihenweizen: pours near black with a beige head. Aroma is chocolate, hints of banana, some light spiciness. Taste is roasty, lightly spicy, hint of alcohol.

Refrigerated pint can poured into a weizen glass. Dark brown with beige head. Aroma chocolate & banana, medium body, medium carbonation, and pretty good lacing. Taste is cocoa and banana.
