A long way from Deutschland, our German brewers have taken inspiration from their home to produce this refreshing Hopfenweisse. A classic wheat beer base is given a new dimension via generous dry hopping with aromatic hops. Germany has a rich brewing heritage and this is one of their Native Tastes.

Citra and Mandarina Bavaria dry hop.

Low phenolic notes. Loads of bubblegum and citrus notes. Lemon. Noble German hops. Crisp clean malt profile. Not overpowering on banana but the banana penny sweets are present in flavour for me in this beer.

Tap at Mad Squirrel, High Wycombe. Poured a hazy golden orange colour with a thin white head. The aroma is big cheesy yeast, peachy citrus. The flavour is moderate to light sweet, with a smooth, grainy, dry funky yeast, light acidic, light citrus palate. The funky yeast totally dominates. Not one for a session, but plenty going on for a half pint.
