Bottle shared, thanks to Santa Fonefan. Very dark reddish brown with huge dark beige head. Coffee, drop, light ashy, roasted malts, some toffee, salmiak, maybe some chili or maybe it’s the suggestion. Hmmm, after a few sips I do actually feel a very light burn. Medium sweet and under medium bitter. Medium bodied.

Sampled from bottle at THT October. Black with enthusiastic fluffy tan head. Sweet roasted choco malts, toffee, coffee, bit watery and dusty, and then in come the chili! Bottled, thanks fonefan! Near black, small head. Aroma of coffee and bell peppers. Mid sweet with light-medium body and rounded mouthfeel. Coffee, chocolate and licorice, mild chili heat lingers. Unusually balanced chili porter.

clear brown, smooth light brown head. faint chili herbal note, faint licorice, some mildly roasted malts. Flavor is well dosed chili , faint licorice, roasted malts, hops are low. I think the chili and licorice is well dosed, and the base beer is almost flavorful enough to make it work. One of the better chili licorice porters.

Draft. A black beer with a brown head. The aroma has notes of roasted malt, chilis, roasted malt, and a bit of liquorice. The flavor is sweet with notes of chili, roasted malt, and liqourice, leading to a dry roasted finish, where the chlii burns a bit.

Fra flaske på rbhd-treff hos Sigmund, juni-15: er dette virkelig den samme? Etiketten er helt annerledes - det står "Raasted 1 Chili Lakrids Porter", og abv både 5,5 eller 6%, avhengig av hvor på etiketten du leser. Dette er virkelig elendig forbrukerinformasjon. Men ølet er godt, og det er det viktigste! Lekker integrering av chili og lakris både i intro og gjennomføring, og chilien varmer helt ned i tarmtottene.

Shared bottle at RB/HD at Tau 07.60.5 ABV is 5,5 or 6,0, depending on which part of the label one looks at. Very dark brown. Pale, brown head. Aroma of star anise and dark chololate. Star anise and chili in taste, with sweet, dark chocolate.
