Only domestic ingredients from controlled biological cultivation are used in this amber-colored, natural and traditional beer specialty from Salzburg. When brewing this beer we add Laufener Landweizen to the blend – a fine ancient grain we grow on healthy land and malt ourselves at the Stiegl-Farm Wildshut. This completes the velvelty mild taste – an absolute delight.

Draft at Imbibe Wine. Nose is grassy hops, caramel, and light spiciness. Hazy yellow with a big heavy lacing white head. Flavor is lightly bitter with caramel and a hint of cloves. Interesting example of the style.

Bottle at Stieglkeller, Festungsgasse, Salzburg, Austria Sunday 3rd June 2012 Dirty orange/amber in colour with a white you cannot see through this it is very murky. Tangy with a wheatiness showing, fruity, clean with a nice tingly carbonation. Little bit thin but otherwise a refreshing decent beer. A6 A3 T7 P3 Ov13 3.2

On tap at Bier Beisl. Pours with a murky golden hued body with a creamy white head that lasts. Aromas are bready, grassy, floral with light spice and sulfur. Flavors are soft, delicate, bready, floral, honey. Nice malt character and a bitterness that balances. A touch of salinity. Lively bubbles, dry with a light lingering bitterness.

Draft. Pours a hazy golden color with a longlasting white head. Has a fruity malty weak yeasty grassy aroma. Sweetish malty yeasty flavor with grassy hints. Has a sweetish malty grainy yeasty finish.

From tap at the brewpub. Pours murky yellow with a small white head. Aroma is fruity and toasted malty. Light yeasty, fruity and mild grassy. bitter, toasted malty and light grassy. Mild fruity and slight citrusy finish.

Aroma is moderate malty, grain, hay, straw, toasted. Flavour is moderate sweet and light to moderate bitter with a average to long duration, straw, grainy, fruity.
