Unfiltered, unpasteurised dark ale beer. A beer that engulfs your palate with caramel maltiness and than, out of nowhere, punch you with bitterness. We like to call it bitter caramel.

Bottle, Spicy Days Web Shop. Dark coppery, medium offwhite head, creamy and quite lasting. Medium strong fruity hoppy nose, some biscuits and quite some caramel with slight balsamic feeling. Moderate bitterness, some biscuity sweetness. But sharp, herbal finish and lasting herbal aftertaste. Medium light body. Quite sharp, too sharp actually.

Bottle, 330 ml, shared wit Miro B and Max. Murky dark orange with huge gushing beige head. Malty, yeasty, herbal, sweet. Bitterish finish. Somewhat messy.

Fles 33cl in Poreč. Bitter, enorme over the top schuimkraag, caramel, rood fruittonen, kersen, acidic, zoeten, wat zepig, licht boozy. (14-9-2021).

Ok. Dark amber, small head,low retention. Aroma malty, cherry, caramel. Strong, very strong bitterness all the way. Bit unbalanced. Medium to moderate body, medium carbonation. Wierd.

Bottle, 0.33l. Murky deep amber/brown pour, no head, thin off-white layer on top. Minimal lacing. Sweet and malty nose, liquor, nutty, ripe fruits. Not bad. Medium body, medium carbonation, lively. Soft mouthfeel and texture, chewy, refreshingly fizzy. Goes down nicely. Surprisingly bitter taste, low malty sweetness in the background. Aroma is nutty, herbal, wood notes. Toasted caramel, liquorice. Peppery, ripe fruits, earthy. Lingering bitterness that slowly builds up. Long lasting finish, dry, bitter and boozy. Good one.

Bottled 330ml. -Courtesy of hrabren, shared with him and Marko. Darker amber coloured, small to medium sized off-white head, caramel and touch of alcohol in the nose. Toasted malt, caramel, light alcohol, some dried vegetablesand slightly peppery touch in the finish. Quite a mess but not unpleasant.

0.33 l bottle from a small store in Hum, Istria. Shared with Marko and Ogi. Hazy copper, small off-white head. Metal, cherry, lots of spices, toast, some plastic, there's a lot going on here. Flavour is a weird combination of vegetable, peppers, camomile and cherry. No bitterness. Tanines. Roiboos. Smooth. Medium body. This is everything!

Bottle, thanks Hrabren for sharing with Ogi and me! Dark red body, misty, off white head. Red fruit and caramel in the slightly stuffy aroma, alcohol, some sharp herbal touches. Odd red fruit notes, cherry, light toasty notes, light bitterness, light caramel, odd umami finish. Hm. Not bad.
