Bottle. Dark brown, almost black. Smaller beige head, not lasting at all. Quite woody nose, some smoked notes, roasted with hints of chocolate. Medium bitterness, some nice chocolate sweetness. A bit roasted in the finish. Mild aftertaste. Light body. Not bad.

Bottle, 0.33l. Aroma is caramelly, roasted, grainy and grassy. Pours dark brown color with thin creamy cappuccino-like head and sparkling appearance. Taste starts moderate sweet caramelly and roasted, following is dried fruity, earthy and grassy, mouthfeel is smooth, while finish is average bitter. Medium body, oily texture and average carbonation in palate. Nice one…

Bottle, 0.33l. Murky brown pour, lots of yeast floating in the glass. Two finger soapy beige head, medium retention. Slight lacing as it goes down. Nose is roasted malt, cocoa, latte. Subtle sweet fruity notes in the background. Light body, aggressive carbonation. Fizzy, prickly mouthfeel, watery texture. Very lightweight. Roasty bittersweet taste and aroma, slightly unbalanced. Roasted malt, coffee, cocoa. Dark fruits, raisins. Caramel, wood notes. Strong roasty bitter aftertaste. Medium lasting finish, dry and bitter. Not bad but a bit unbalanced and a quite watery. Lots of room for improvement here.

Bottle. Almost pitch black, off white head. Aroma... brownies, nuts, alcohol, sweetish. Lean taste, vague cocoa, brownies, vague tart touches, lightly vinous, some mild alcohol. Okay.

0.33 l bottle, a sample from the brewery. Shared with little Dina and her family. Dark brown, small off-white head. Aroma is roasty, slightly medicinal phenolic, hints of caramel, brown sugar, dried fruit. Toasted malts and raisins. Quite dry, roasted, burnt toast, light soy sauce, slightly unrefined, even harsh. Dry finish, flavour abrupt, dryness persists. Medium body, soft carbonation. Room for improvement definitely there, but not bad.
