Caramel and toffifee-like flavour with notes of raisins and honey. Special abbey yeast gave authenthic spicy touch. Be careful, with 9.7% alcohol it is dangerously drinkable, perfect for desserts.
Suitable for aging so grab some bottles, store and forget them. You won't regreat when you final open them after some time!

Bottle kindly sent by Hrvoje from Pulfer, shared with midovark and others. Hazy ruby-amber body with an off whtie head. Some esters in the aroma and a solid malty kick, dry raisins, orange, spicy notes vaguely reminiscent of coriander, and light alcohol too - as expected. Definitely borderline barleywine-like Fruity-malty taste, plums, caramelly maltiness, sweet, some light orange notes, generally lovely but not on the same level as the taste. All in all a very well made beer that I will gladly get more of if I find it, to see what age will do to it. Highly drinkable despite the (well hidden) ABV.

Bottle. Dark copper brown, smaller and not so lasting beige head. Nice, complex malty nose with dry figs and prunes, some biscuits and chocolate and slight alcohol. Starts quite sweet with dry fruits, medium bitterness, a bit sharp in the finish with some yeast, gentle aftertaste, lasting. Quite warming. Nicly drinkable despite its strength.

0.33 l bottle from Spicy Days, Zagreb. Shared with little Dina. Deep oily amber to ruby red, small off-white head. Aroma is pleasantly fruity, strawberry jam, syrupy malts, prunes, spices such as cinnamon. There is some alcohol like cherry brandy present. Flavour slightly rough, spicy, toasty, dry finish. Low sweetness, body a bit light. Would love to age this one for five to ten years and then taste again.

Bottle, 0.33l. Hazy deep amber/brown pour, no head. Minimal lacing on the glass. Very nice on the nose, caramel malt, dried fruits, mild floral notes, hints of alcohol. Medium to full body, soft carbonation. Mild fizzy mouthfeel, chewy texture, nice thickness to it. Malty sweet taste with mild bitter notes. Aroma of caramel, toffee, syrup. Dried fruits, raisins. Sugar, candy, quite sticky. Lingering alcohol presence, nicely warming. Long lasting finish, sweet and liquory with nice fruity notes in the background. Quite tasty.
