Caramel and toffifee-like flavour with notes of raisins and honey. Special abbey yeast gave authenthic spicy touch. Be careful, with 9.7% alcohol it is dangerously drinkable, perfect for desserts.
Suitable for aging so grab some bottles, store and forget them. You won't regreat when you final open them after some time!

Bottle kindly shared by Marko, thanks a lot! Pours copper with a beige head. Nose is dried fruits, nutty malts, a touch of booze. Taste is sweet notes of booze, malts and nuts, some esters, a light metallic touch, noting too bad, but it’s definitely there. Closes with a long lasting sweet, lightly fruity and malty finish, has a light to medium body and soft carbo. The aroma is truly outstanding, barley wine-like, but the taste is slightly underwhelming which might be due to the borderline thin body. Still pretty decent altogether.

Bottle bought at Last Hop, Staines. Aroma is big and rich. Dark fruit. Coffee. Warming booze. Liqourice. Opaque cola brown. Thin beige head retreats to the rim. Medium bitter. Liqourice. Tangy. Dark fruits. Underlying malts and molasses. Booze. Medium bodied. Slick to creamy. Soft carbonation. Long somewhat astringent finish. Lovely warming dark stuff. Suitable for being sat here watching haunted house horror Darkstream with a cat sat on my lap.

Sample (thanks fonefan!). Copper colour, small off-white head. Aroma is fruity, floral, toffeeish and mild spiciness with a wee bit of alcohol. Flavour is fruity, spicy, some alcohol, mild toffee and some fruity tones. A bit burning alcohol in the aftertaste with a bit of earthy elements.
