Bottle @ home. Clear amber color, full sized quite creamy off-white head that lasts for a decent while. Aroma is malts, nicely hoppy, quite citrussy. Tastes about the same: malts, hops, bitterness. Medium body and carbonation. Decent enough but not very exciting and as an Imperial IPA, nah.

Bottle from het Biermoment, 01-08-2018, large sample. Slight hazy amber color, medium rocky head. Aroma is slight herbal, bit toffee, slight toast, bit fruity hop. Soft to medium bitterness, bit orange and toffee sweetness, bit herbal. About 3 months old and already tastes like an english old ale.

Lightly hazy amber beer, good cream colour head. Palate is airy, semi dry and finely minerally crisp. Fluffy malts, thin creamy sweetness. Light floral hop start, into mellow orange. Mild peel. Modest spice. Light finish. It;s fine but could do with more hop intensity given it’s hop profile.

At Maakun’s. Sampled from bottle. Dry malt, barley, dried fruit from the nut guy across the street, citrus hoppiness, sunflower seeds, yoghurty and bit gluey yeast imprint. Light sweet and medium bitter. Under medium body. Bit gelly feel, average carbonation. Bittersweet finish. --- Beer merged from original tick of Six Hops Double Pale Ale on 08 Jan 2018 at 15:49 - Score: 6

Sample @ Stadsbrouwhuis, Leiden.
