(Nov 2015) Draught @ Albion. Cloudy bright yellow with very small frothy whitish head, faint acidic aroma, low carbonation, lightly tart Brettanomyces brew taste, abrupt finish with little hops presence. Feels light despite the ABV. (Dec 2018) Bottle at tasting. Pours hazy golden with very small frothy white head, sweet acidic aroma, high carbonation, balanced acidic sour earthy taste, smooth body, long med sour finish. Very well balanced. Either the one I tried 3 years ago was a bit flat, or my taste has improved. I liked it much better this time.

Tasting at Matt’s
Hazy blond color. Nice aroma, Bretty and funky; lightly citrusy. Dry mouthfeel, a bit too yeasty, with citrus peel flavor, and a bit astringent in the finish.
Nice, a bit dirty.

750mL bottle, sent from yourilevesque (thanks a lot, Youri), pours a hazy golden with a small white head. Aroma brings out bretty notes, some oak and light floral notes. Flavour is very fruity upfront for a saison brett, with oak barrels, brett and stone fruits. Not a tremendous amount of funk -- perhaps this could have used a little more time aging for that to develop. Pretty solid, but lacking in complexity compared to the best saison bretts out there.

Bottle poured and split at Matt’s. Thanks to Matt for sharing this. Pours a cloudy orange color with a fading fizz head. Big orange, apricot fruit, with a slight tart to it. Slightly soapy, but not really in a bad way at all. Late linger brett. Good fruit character going on. Solid saison.

Pours a hazy light-golden colour with an off-white head that fizz, but does stay longer than it perceives to, leaving some foamy lace. Sour aromas with some Belgian Ale yeast. The taste is sour, but not overly like expected. Gives out some gooseberry notes and sometimes, grain malt lingers in the aftertaste. Not a bad blend with some decent sourness, but this does not let the Saison part shine.
