Bottle. Amber colour with a mediumsized white head. Aroma is citrus, wood, some mild tropical fruits with a bit of maltiness to it too. Flavour is tropical fruits, citrus, some grains, mild herbs and some earthy and herbal tones too. Smoothly balanced.

Draft at the brewpub. Poured a clear copper colour with a thin white head. The aroma is citrus woody hop. The flavour is strong bitter with a big tropical fruit woody resin hop bitter palate. Medium bodied with average carbonation.

Keg at the tasting room, 20/05/16. Amber to golden with a decent off white head. Nose is bready malt, orange pith, bitter hop, citric tinged straw. Taste comprises caramel malt, orange pith, light spice, bread dough, melon. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, earthy hop bitterness in the close. Adequate IPA.

Bottle. Turner’s, Sheffield. Clear, orangey amber. Thin, rapidly diminishing, off white head. Nose has ripe orange pulp. Toffee malts. Hop spice. Some flora. Taste is honeyed sweet. Turns juicy, citric pith bitter. Moderate to full bodied. Prickly carbonation helps cut through the sweetness. Finishes pithy, zesty bitter, with a lingering sweetness on the lips. Very drinkable, old school, peppery IPA.
