7/VI/20 - 33cl bottle from Geers (Oostakker), shared @ home, BB: III/2023 (2020-481)

Clear amber to red beer, big creamy dense off-white to beige head, pretty stable, adhesive, leaving a nice lacing in the glass. Aroma: very malty, grains, hay, very rural character, bit yeasty. MF: ok carbon, medium body. Taste: sweet start, malty, grains, hay, some cow fodder, soft bitterness, caramel, banana. Aftertaste: bit hoppy, yeast, banana, little spicy, very malty, grains, cow fodder, slightly metallic.

Paired with a veggie-burger and potato wedges. Beer was not bitter enough for this pairing.
