With 36 bitter units, an extra hop-aromatic masterpiece of brewing. Pleasantly sparkling in the first taste, with a flexible, filigree body. Clear, well-defined bitterness in the main drink, which ends in a pleasantly dry, enjoyable finale. The Hercules and Tradition hop varieties create a beguiling bitterness; Pearl, Cascade and Mandarina Bavaria spoil the palate with aromas of meadow, citrus and a subtle note of mandarin.

Big thank you to kappldav123 for this 0,5 l bottle. BB 07.05.2025. Clear golden in the glass, more than one finger white foamy head. Looks good. Taste starts with a lot of bitterhop, malt and caramel way behind in the second row. Nothing else until the end, but this might be the concept. Little bit above carbonated.

0.5 l bottle thanks to Alex, shared with Mike and him. Light grainy, light to moderate herbal and cardboard aroma. Some malty sweetness, some bitterness, some cardboard. Slightly creamy, dry, not that bitter.

Bottle 50 cl. Pours a clear yellow with a small, white head. Surprisingly the nose is more malty than hoppy. Medium body, good and clean, malty base and then a finish that really lives up to its name with a solid bitterness. Not so much hop aromatics but the bitterness is definitely there. Very solid. 290920

Kuldne õlu. Magus, linnaseline, viljane, mõrkjas ekstraktine humal, natuke võine, isegi õline. Karbunn on kõrge. OKish laager.

5,0% ABV.

Decent light beer with some flavour over the average junky lager. The “herb” is subtle, but i think it is there. D&S Dresden

500ml bottle [Thanks Gunnar!]. Clear, yellow-ish, pale golden colour with average, frothy to creamy, osteoporosing, minimally lacing, snow-white head. Cautious, strawy and grainy aroma, weak citrusy and grassy hoppy overtones with hints of lemon and a waxy touch, some malt spiciness. Taste is mildly bitter, grassy hoppy, minimally citrusy, clean strawy and grainy, malty basis; lingering, dry and bitter finish. Very clean and mild, yet finally with insistent hop bitterness. Not bad.

“Landskron Edel-Bitter“, 5 %, Flasche (50 cl) aus dem Edeka am Prager Platz, Berlin-Wilmersdorf. - Goldgelb, klar. - In der Nase feine wenngleich etwas blasse zitronige Hopfennoten. - Antrunk gut hopfenherb mit Zitronenschale. Zartes helles Malz. Mild rezent. Kräftige Hopfenherbe, Zitronenöl. Wuchtig bitterer Abgang, ein wenig schroff. - Kräftig aber etwas einspurig gehopft; gut bitter zwar aber für das Prädikat „edel“ reicht es nicht ganz.
