Courtesy of Riley, can
Dark brown colour. Bready, with mild roast, it's sweetish but with lean body, and lingering, delicate fruity character.
More pleasant than I expected.

Dirty dark brown with a small white head. Dirty and muddy pine notes. Bitter and muddy with a light fruity note. Not great.

16oz on Brian's deck. Appearance: murky brown with a white head. Aroma: coffee, roasted malts, some hoppy character. Taste: along the same lines, some unripe fruits. Overall: pretty good.

473mL can, pours a dirty black with a small beige head. Nose is very dry, with lots of potent earthy hops, and toasted malt. Flavour reveals a nice earthy and piney hop character upfront, with dry bready malt. Really nice hop character, balanced really well by the dry malt. Excellent.

Black, small lasting tan head.Nose of light roast malt and citrus. Similar palate, roast is subdued, coconut notes. Lacks roast for style

Can. Dark brown, thin head. The base malt comes across weak, like cocoa powder sort of thing, but the hop overtop of that is limonene and pine, which I like. On the palate, the body is fairly full, lots more of those terpenes, big toast, chocolatey malt. Haven't seen too many Black IPAs lately, and I'm pretty happy with this one.
