500ml bottle. Opaque, nearly black colour with late awakening, average, thick, creamy, fairly lasting, minimally lacing, beige head. Fruity and chocolately dark malty aroma, hints of coffee and blue grapes. Taste is moderately sweet dark malty, hints of chocolate, bitter hoppy overtones. Good.

Clear black colour, firm beige head. Aroma of chocolate, Schwarzbrot, caramel and molasses. Sweetish flavour, malts, caramel and banana. Finish caramel, banana and malts. Not my favourite porter, in my perception it’s even closer to a bock than to a porter.

Bottle, 7.5%. Nicely roasted aroma. Roast coffee and a hint of salt liquorice.Almost black colour. Brown shine, seems clear. Good light brown head, semi-stable. The flavour starts off lagery, turning nicely roasted and bready. Like a strong Schwarzbier. A little salty in the finish, and also has some earthy notes, perhaps a little horse.

Bottle. Pours cloudy very dark brown with airy light tan head. Clear aroma of malt and caramel with notes of roast and fruit. Bitter, roasty flavour, with sweet notes of caramel and malt, and touches of dark chocolate. Subtle hints of liquorice in the rather roasty finish. Nice, if a trifle watery.
