Hopped with Chinook and Mosaic. Potion is one of the most frequently returning beers we brew at Dig Brew. Whereas Baba Yaga has been brewed with all hops working together to balance the stone fruit flavours from fermentation the Mosaic in this recipe pushes the tropical fruit vibes even further. Previous recipes of this beer have used London Fog yeast whereas this one we have used London Ale III - which is quickly becoming a house favourite for our NEIPAs.

440ml can and first from brewery. Hazy yellow, small creamy head, nice lacing. Aroma of herbs and funky hops, background citrus and fresh flora. Taste is fresh hops, citrus, pale malts, grass, herbs, semi-sweet and zesty. Light to moderate body, soft carbonation, could do with more zing. There is a hop freshness that is promising but doesn't quite get to the next level. Still quite nice.

Keg @ Tap and Can, last day before Lockdown 2.0. Misty yellow, small white head. Aroma of breezy citrus. Taste presents quite a settled pale character, light hop notes, grassy citrus, soft zest, moderate carbonation. Fine, but not a lot going on.
