Medium brown in color with a small head. Aroma was roasted grains with hints of coffee and chocolate. Taste was also roasted grains with hints of coffee and chocolate. A little weak on the flavor but actually made a great lake beer.

Got this bottle at aldi for about a buck. A darker than pale brew, brown but not super dark. Nose is somewhat back and so is taste. Just surprised that the ABV is only 4.5%. Must be a bock lite, heheheh. Goes down fairly easy, civilized for a bock, not harsh. Not bad, just wish it had a little more kick.

Caramel brown with a large foamy tan head. Toasty malt, caramel, an hint of fruit and light astringency. Medium finish and body.

12 oz. bottle from Aldi. Pours a cloudy amber color with a tiny beige head and fair retention. Almost no lacing. Light caramel aroma. Lightly sweet caramel malt flavor, with a light smokey finish. Crisp mouthfeel, thin body. No bitterness. A super easy drinking, refreshing bock beer. Simple profile. Not great, but easily repeatable. Good price. Kinda reminds me of a Killians Red.

Light roast and coffee. A little nut. Nothing really wrong with this but light on flavour overall. Easy drinking at least, and no major flaws. At $7 a sixer at Aldi I wasn't really expecting much more than this for sure. Crisp finish. Bottle.

Lightly smoky, nutty toffee malt, and fresh hay aroma. Dark amber with moderate off-white head. Mildly sweet nutty toffee malt, and mildly bitter fresh hay flavor. Good body. Light smoky finish. Decent - another Aldi-US offering that's cheap but pretty solid.
