A pale ale with a rustic farmhouse approach to the malt bill. Noble and New World hops are combined for a pleasing aroma, with Scilian lemon zest added after fermentation for clean zesty finish.

Cask-Handpump. Semi clear hay pour, long lasting and tick white foam. Nose is very lemony, with pils malt notes and white flowers. Mouth has a sourish start, citric, lemony but never tart.

Cask at the London and County JDW, Eastbourne. Poured a slightly hazy yellow golden colour colour and a short-lived frothy white head. The aroma is grainy, light citrus fruits. The flavour is moderate bitter and sweet, with a light, somewhat watery, fresh, light lemon citrus, mineral, light hop bitter palate. Light bodied with soft carbonation.

Cask at the Pembury Tavern - Hackney. Pours clear yellow with a super tight, creamy white topping. Light sweet flavour with notes of citrus peel, lemon rind, a little grass, floral hops, mild bitterness, crispy pale grains. Light bodied with fine, massaging carbonation; good condition. Balanced finish, soft lemongrass, pale bread, citrus peel. Tasty and quaffable.
