Gravicask, third at the 33rd Swindon Beer Festival. Shared with Finn. Off-black body, bubbles on the surface, fair lacing. Moderate aromas of dark malts, lightly roasted. Mid-sweet and spiced chocolate malts to the taste profile followed by roasted coffee notes to the ending. Satisfying. (26.10.2019).

Cask gravity at the Watford beer festival 2017. A black mahogany brown coloured pour with a loose light tan head. Aroma is earthy, burnt toast, green apple,.. Flavour is composed of earthy roast, brunt cake, liquorice, vanilla. Light bitter roast. Palate is rounded, good cask condition. Really nice. Good.

Cask at the Prince of Wales, Farnborough. An opaque, dark chocolate brown colour with a ring of translucent head; nutty, malty aroma; thin in the mouth with a sweet, chocolate malt taste; and an earthy bitterness leaving a trace of licorice. Seems more of a dark mild than a stout to me.
