Mellow biscuity malt aroma, has murky brown body with modest foam. Flavour is fresh maltiness, some mellow sweet hops. Mouthfeel is full, okay oiliness, but lacking crispness. It's not bad, simplistic, filling, lacking finesse.

On tap at Jackknife, pours a hazy copper orange with a small white head. Aroma brings out spicy rye, with subdued earthy hops. Flavour is full-bodied, with spicy rye, earthy hips, and toasted biscuity malt. The rye is really used nicely. Full and complex. Good stuff.

This was chewy, full of rye. Balancing hop bitterness but not much hop aroma. There’s a bit of butter, but it does balance a bit with the rye. So it’s okay – I don’t get a lot of the “Nordic” character to it, but that’s okay.
