Cask (O'Neill's, Uppsala) - Amber in colour. Malty and slightly fruity aroma with hints of orange and honey. Nicely balanced taste with biscuity malt, grass and some notes of orange and berries.

Clear amber colour with lasting head. Aroma and flavour have light raisin sweetness. Dry floral hop. Great body for a low alcohol beer. Slight candy and almond notes in the background.

Bottle at home. A rather fantastic old school best bitter that ticked all of the right boxes. Malt and bitter hops in balance and brilliant drinkability. Lovely.

From cask at The Brewery Tap, Leeds, West Yorkshire, with OGJ 05.01.18. Dark golden. Dense and persistent off-white head and lacing. Well-balanced aroma and taste of sweet crystal malt and moderate hops. Slightly metallic. Smooth mouthfeel.

50cl bottle from Morrisons, Bracknell. An amber pour with a loose cream head; aroma of stewed nettles; taste of over boiled malts with some caramel; then a herbal bitterness with a toffee aftertaste. Yorkshire in style, but overworked.
