On tap at the brewery. Dark orange to amber. Malty, some biscuit notes, pine, sweetish with some bitterness in finish. Medium bodied.

Very soft biscuit aroma, mellow clear brown body and okay foam. Flavour is sharp malt, good piney hops to back it up. Carbonation and oiliness are working well. Not a true ESB but decent nonetheless.

Dark amber, slight haze. Thin head. It’s definitely got that caramel and butter thing going on. The brewer doesn’t seem to perceive diacetyl well, so there’s a bit of a QC gap here. Besides that, it’s just sort of sweet and one-dimensional on that caramel side. Maybe some traces of bubblegum, but of course that’s not a good thing.
