Okanagan Daze is an Apricot and Pinot Gris Wheat Ale. It's a refreshing Canadian Wheat Ale with notes of citrus and stone fruit. A large addition of Canadian wheat gives this beer a slight haze. We added apricots and Pinot Gris during fermentation to give this classic summer beer an Okanagan twist.

473ml can. Pours a hazy orange-gold with yeast particles in suspension and a medium, foamy, long lasting, white head that leaves soapy lacing. Semi-sweet aroma of wheat malt, apricot, earthy yeast and floral hops. Sweet flavour of bready wheat malt, apricot, white wine, earthy yeast, floral hops and a hint of black pepper in a dry, mild bitter finish. Medium body with an oily texture and average carbonation. Well balanced and easy to drink.

Foggy yellow body and modest foam, nice fresh apricot on the nose. Flavour is more nice apricot, nothing to back it up though and ends a little watery. Just okay.

On draught at the brewery. Hazy, with lots of apricot on the nose. Bright fruit, decent pinot gris character as well. These elements go together better than I thought they would. Well, actually. One of the better Cannery beers I've had.
