Poured from the tap @ Iron Road. Clear dark chestnut brown with small beige head. Some dark fruit, there's a feint hint of smoke in the background, some herbaceousness, decent.

Dark brown. Medium head. On the nose, has some dark fruits. On the palate, fairly full body, lots of hops, bringing a moderate bitterness and a nice leafy character. Again, some subtle dark fruits. Good malt complexity on this one. Excellent porter, wow. Gets better with every sip.

Smells of nice dry deep barley with tiramisu notes, has great deep black body and good foam. Flavour is nice deep barley character, mellow sweetness. Mouthfeel is crisp and smooth. This is great, a full and smooth porter.

On tap at Iron Road, pours a clear dark reddish brown with a small beige head. Aroma brings out moderate earthy hops, toasted malt and an earthy overtone. Flavour is nicely balanced between hops and malt, with a nice earthy and piney hop character, and medium roast. Almost like a black IPA, but less assertive. Well-done.

Dark brown colour. Cardboard aroma. Lean body, fairly dry, with prominent roasted malt, lightly ashy, with lighly fruity hopping.
