Regel was brewed with two-row barley and flaked rice. Fermented at cooler ale temperatures with a blend of saison yeast strains to restrain the esters and phenols typical of saisons. Krausened with freshly fermenting lagerbier to crisp up and naturally carbonate the beer. Lagered for an additional two weeks.

Flight at brewery. Pours clear yellow. Aroma has some funk, floral notes, and a bit of stone fruit. Flavour is funky, has some floral and grassy notes, and a bit of yeast. Pretty decent.

Dull gold, and mostly bright (like, maybe some chill haze). Not much head. On the nose, itβs quite fruity, with a good brett character. On the palate, itβs got a soft, low carbonation that showcases a beautiful bretty character backed by malt sweetness. Itβs slightly more bitter, I would say, than the Eryx.

The aroma is all soft yeast and chalk, has cloudy yellow body with soft foam. Flavour is soft seaweed, apple cider vinegar, some white wine notes. Mouthfeel is full and crisp. This is unique, good character.

On tap at House of Funk, pours a cloudy blonde with a small white head. Aroma reveals gentle saison yeast and lots of herbaceous notes. Flavour is on the herbal side, with saison yeast, cereal grains, and herbal notes. Dry and rustic, but that herbal quality bugs me a bit. Okay.
