Following the introduction of the bottom-fermented brewing process in the mid-19th century, a new beer type became popular and shaped the consumption habits of beer drinkers. Can from The Davis Beer Shoppe. Pours gold with a moderate white head. Aroma of Noble hop with light bready support. Med body. Flavor is the aroma. A bit dry than exported. Bitter enough to balance the malt. Quite a nice drink.

330ml draft in a bottle from lowcostbeer.com. Light hazy gold, small white head, minimal retention. Aroma of pale malts, slightly grainy in note and lemon. Taste is grainy, bread, some citrus and spice. Its fine but a little dulled. Carbonation a little on the low side but probably not in top condition. Still has a nice smoothness. Its ok.

Bottle 0,5lt: Clear golden colored brew with an sweet bitter taste, more malty than hoppy hints and the beer is some fizzy.

[66cl bottle from Home Bargains, Bracknell.] A pale amber coloured pour with a lasting tight white head; malty aroma; rather malty taste; then an astringent grassy bitterness.

Ziołowe, ziemiste, lekko metaliczne od chmieli, przyjemnie zbożowe. Barwa złota, przejrzyste, piana redukuje się do krążka, znikomy lacing. Goryczka zaznaczona, ziołowa. Jest lekkie, rześkie, daje efekt crispy, można chlać litrami.

Man sitzt in einer urigen italienischen Pizzeria 🍕 in Budapest und was gibts als Fassbier: DAB Export, ganz klar!?! Auch wenn ich die Auswahl nicht verstehe, so passt das Bier doch ganz gut zum Essen, weil es nicht zu schwer oder voll ist. Alleine ohne Speisebegleitung wäre es mir aber zu fad.
