The nose, malty, roasted and biscuity associated with generous hopping with citrus aromas arouses our curiosity. The palate is malty, caramelized and supported by a beautiful bitterness with fruity and resinous flavors. The finish is bitter, rather dry with notes of coffee, dark chocolate and good length.

Old rating - A 330ml bottle collected from the brewery a couple of years ago. Pours a red colour with a white head. Aromas & tastes of spice, nutmeg, coffee & malt. Very good Black IPA

33cl bottle traded with Maakun. Thick creamy of white head. Clear deep burgundy pour. Nice bitterness. Some herbal notes. Pretty decent

bottle from Bièrerie Illkirch-Graffenstaden. Deep brown, almost black, with a fluffy and lasting beige head. Resiny-fruity nose with some dark malts. Full-bodied, malty base with roasted malts, chocolate and dried fruit. Hoppy flavours with resine and pine round it off perfectly. Good.

Bottle. Brown with small of white Head. Sweet malts and caramel at first with a light roasted touch. Plenty of aroma hops with tropical fruits (mango, pineapple). Later more peach and very ripe pear. Quite sweet with light bitter finish. Nice take on a Christmas beer!

Many thanks for this bottle to jaghana. Pours a dark amber color. Light hop nose. Malty flavors with some caramel and grassy notes.

Trübes dunkel goldenes Bier mit ordentlicher Schaumkrone. Geruch fruchtig malzig, hopfig. Geschmack sehr malzig, hopfig, Gewürze, unrund.
