Our rhubarb-augmented Berliner-style sour. Soft tartness and fresh fruit come together to create a nostalgic experience, reminiscent of eating raw rhubarb dipped in sugar.

Can from Lidl Inverurie. It pours hazy yellow-gold with a small foamy white head. The aroma is sweet - sour, tangy, yoghurt, Bircher muesli, rhubarb, grainy, earth and kitty litter. The taste is crisp and snappy upfront, earthy, sour rhubarb, lemon, sour fizzy candy, dull acidity, grainy and a hint of kitty litter. Light body (but not thin) and moderate+ prickly carbonation. Simple and refreshing stuff.

440ml can from Lidl; BBE Jan 2022. Poured into an old (1988) Schultheiss Berliner Weisse glass bowl at home on 11th Aug 2020. Cloudy orange with floaters, weak head. Rhubarb comes through loud and clear in this semi-sour beer, decent.

Can from Lidl. Pours a cloudy dull orange, with head and some retention. Aroma of rhubarb and sour notes. Taste is moderately sour with juicy rhubarb and light malts. Light body and moderate carbonation. Probably needs something extra to lift it but is tasty enough and sessionable. Only my second Berliner Weisse and still trying to understand the style.
