Short Throw, Equilibrium; we love hip-hop. So when great minds think alike, they think of this: Spillmatic. As an ode to one of the greatest MC's and albums of all time, Spillmatic is a Triple IPA adorned with copious amounts of Strata, Galaxy, and Citra. Dry-hopped with the same varietals.

Tangerine, pineapple, mango, and citrus notes dominate the palate and aroma, paired with a smooth, unobtrusive malt bill that allows this 10.1% abv masterpiece to be incredibly drinkable. Enjoy fresh!

Pours a hazy, soft pineapple-yellow, with mid-sized head. Aroma is a rather muted citrus and tropical fruit combination. Flavor is citrus and tropical fruit, with some pine/spruce hop bitterness in the finish. The high ABV is very well-hidden in both aroma and flavor. Mouthfeel is soft and full. Not bad at all.

Tangerine and grapefruit. Green onion and mango. Lots of booze but this is tolerable for a triple IPA. Murky orange pour with decent head. Hop tang and booze in finish with some caramel. Can.

Super hazy golden coloured body that looks like both straw and raw honey, all with a very thick and dense three to four centimetre tall tan and off-white head - very beautiful. Aroma of orange juice, mangoes, resin, perfume, fresh cut grass, grapefruit, kumquats, tangerines and even some lemongrass, all with some noticeable along (of course!) and a good dose of malt - very nice and not pungent or cloying in the nose. Medium to Full-bodied; Very strong orange juice, mango, resin and citrusey flavours dominate with a lot of resin, fresh grass and lightly floral hop flavours show through, that all sit upon a nice, slightly pungent malt backbone with a very sweet, syrupy finish and a hint of alcohol at the end, but not too strong at all. Aftertaste is very citrusey, quite deep and full in terms of the body, but very well balanced, as the malt is just as strong as the super pungent hops and sweetness is nice, slightly syrupy, but not cloying and gives in a little bit with the noticeable alcohol, but this feels closer to 8,5 per cent than more than 10! Overall, a very nice, 'true', Imperial IPA that has a very nice set of flavours, is complex, drinkable and balanced - drink fresh if you can find this one at all! Somehow it goes down relatively easily, especially for the sheer alcohol percentage! I sampled this sixteen ounce, pint-sized can, purchased from the Department of Beer and Wine in Alexandria, Virginia on 21-August-2020 for US$6,29 sampled at my house here in Washington on 30-August-2020.

Can from Holiday Market. Pours a glowing hazy gold with a finger of white foam that lingers. Great lacing down the glass. Tropical fruit bouquet of a nose with tangerine, passionfruit, mango and pineapple all standing out. Pillowy on the palate with a soft, fluffy mouthfeel. Dangerously drinkable for 10% abv. Lingering peach, pineapple and passionfruit on the finish with light pine and pith to cut the sweetness. Great stuff.

Can at home. Influx of new breweries available in Orlando since I left. Fine cloudy yellow pour and big bead. Nose is citrus and other fruits. Tastes of grapefruit, floral, lime, plum, star fruit. Low bitterness. Fruity finish. Hides abv well

16oz can from Brewers Haven. Milky, murky yellow body with a one finger creamy head. Aroma is light citrus peel, fruity. Beer comes in full and thick, with layers of citric bitterness, creamy, grapefruit, lemon. Starts soft and finishes hard.
