Can, total wine. Eye is a virtually clear darker pale, maybe goldish light brown copper, quick white head. Nose is typical mildly sweet malty fest beer. Tongue is somewhat stronger than yer typical fest beer, quite a bit more medium bitter personality. Good co2 tingle on the palate. Seems a tad boozy in the middle for 5.6%. Either way, this is certainly presenting itself for the style. Towards the end, that bitterness seems to be retained on the surface of the taste buds. Finishes with a medium length slightly sweet bitter personality. Could use a few more manners, but not bad.

12 oz. can from Total Wine. Pours a crystal clear bronze color with a large khaki head and great retention. Fair lacing. Sweet caramel malt aroma. Sweet caramel malt flavor too, with just a hint of alcohol in the finish. Very clean, smooth, and tasty. Medium body and medium carbonation. Not bitter. Really good sweet Marzen.

Can from Holiday Market. Pours a clear copper with a quickly dissipating off-white head. Bready malt aromas with some light pumpkin and biscuit aromas. Light on the palate, very drinkable. Just enough malt to keep it together. Light pepper notes on the finish and slightly sweet malt that lingers.
