Can from Seasons Farm Shop, Windlesham. Sweet malty doughy aroma with a yeasty edge. Light gold. Very bubbly. Thick foamy white head. Medium bitter. Sour citrus edge. Underlying sweet yeast and malts which gain prominence and add a biscuit streak. Light-medium bodied. Slick. Soft carbonation. Dry slightly astringent finish. Did not have high hopes but the blend of bitter, sweet and sour means that the former does not dominate. Add to that a pleasant mouthfeel.

[33cl can from the new Farm Shop on the A30 between Sunningdale and Bagshot.] A straw coloured pour with a tight white head and a sour yeasty aroma; quite a farmyard taste with some caramel; then a grassy bitterness and a nutty, doughy finish. A nice Helles.

330ml can from Off The Tap, Maidenhead. Poured a hazy golden colour with a mostly lasting frothy white head. The aroma is floral yeasty, gluey, toffee, woody hops. The flavour is moderate bitter, with a smooth, biscuit, dough, dry hop bitter palate. Medium bodied with average carbonation.
