Tap@ Kittyโ€™s. Deep mahogany color, thin white head. Barnyardy, Fantome-like aroma, sour milk, Flavor has caramel, raisins, wood, soaked plums, Belgian yeast. Extreme aroma, flavor is very nice though. Aroma gets better though after a while, still quite extreme, flawed or not.

(Keg at One Pint Pub, 20151204) The beer poured deep reddish brown. Its head was medium sized and white. Aroma had fruitiness, berries and yeast. Palate was medium bodied with medium carbonation. Flavours were malts, spiciness, wood, yeast, berries and bitterness. Aftertaste was yeasty and bitter. A decent Belgian style ale. A bit messy.

On keg at Coach and Horses, Dronfield - Light brown body, thin head. Nose and taste primarily creamy toffee, little bit of booze in it. Okay.

Light brown. Aroma and flavour have lots of herbal notes which are quite dominant. Too herbal for me.

Tap. Brewhouse, Sheffield. Clear brown. Dense, lasting, off white head. Solid Belgian affair. Bit of everything. Some green apple. Donโ€™t get much barrel character. Nicely bready, and soft chewy. Very drinkable. Itโ€™s a Thornbridge beer. Solid as you like.
