Pour une double IPA, je trouve cette Big Job assez décevante. Les arômes ne sont pas assez développés, elle manque de corps et l'amertume sèche est un peu agressive. Bref, je la classe dans les bières rafraîchissantes, acceptables, mais qui ne m'auront pas procuré d'émotions. En verre, joli blond limpide tout de même. A noter aucune mousse pour un titrage qui n'est cependant pas très poussé (7,2 % Abv). Le nez est sur les fruits exotiques, les agrumes et herbacé. Cascade, Centennial et Citra se font bien ressentir. Ceux-ci s'expriment cependant moins en bouche. L'attaque sèche présentent des arômes peu intenses mais sur une amertume rafraîchissante. La deuxième bouche, toujours aussi sèche est même un peu agressive, avec des arômes de pamplemousse légèrement épicés. L'arrière bouche, peu ample est quant à elle linéaire. Le final, légèrement astringent sur les agrumes continue sur cette lancée sur des agrumes et une pointe de résineux. Celui-ci est nénamoins d'une bonne longueur. Tout cela manque un peu de consistance. J'en reste un peu amer...

Bottle. Nose is mango, pineapple, sight orange, cereal. Taste is grapefruit pith, cereal, lime, grapefruit juice, pink grapefruit. Mango becomes more prominent as it opens up. Mouth feel is slick. It's too basic for a dipa, but cheap for the style.

Bottle 50cl from Vinmonopolet.no. Golden, clear with a white head. Hops and some malt and grass sense. Light bitterness with lots of hop end.

Bottle at home from Tesco. A bit of a rebrand since I last had this, as it never used to mention "double IPA," but that probably hadn't been invented back then. A good pour, no real head and no real taste for that matter. A good kick of alcohol, but that was about it. All in all a bit disappointing.

19.05.2018 -- 0.33l bottle from geant casino in st louis, 2.20€, bb 01.2019. pours a clear pale golden with a frothy head. aroma of mango, passionfruit, jam, malts, very tropical fruity. flavour of mango, grapes, spruce, wood, grapefruit. quite bitter and not too sweet, especially for an iipa. nice

Bottle. Golden color, whitish foam. Floral aroma, citrus, grapefruit, quite pleasant, Taste: grapefruit, citrus, herbs, fruit and mango, malt and zest, bitterness, medium and pleasant bitterness.

50cl Bottle at farsons beer fest. Amber color clear big white head big hoppy smell. Aroma of citrusy hops. Taste prominently bitter, medium body dry bitter finish. Clean double english IPA, nice.

Bottle. Foggy deep golden colour. Small off-white head. Nose: tropical and floral hops. Medium body. Dry flavour. Grassy and fruity hops. Good in the English way.

500ml bottle: BBD in 5 days. Poured into a Gwaun Brewery badged pint sleeve at home on 25th May 2017. Clear golden pour, white bubbley crown. Citrus notes greet your nose as the head swiftly buggers off. Malty esters try and knock the citrusy aroma to the background, almost made it. Taste is also citrusy and fairly hop bitter, again the malts fail to equal or overpower the hop content. Decent, but too citrusy for me, liked the alcohol mini-buzz: scored objectively. I have another bottle of this, it is going to be blended with a pint of my own exceedingly malty home brew and I am expecting to have a beer that my sweet tooth will really like.
